Description
SMBJ15CA-E3/52 diode is a two-terminal electronic component that allows current to flow in only one direction while blocking it in the opposite direction. It is commonly referred to as a "one-way valve" for electric current. Diodes are widely used in various electronic circuits for rectification, signal processing, voltage regulation, and switching applications. The basic structure of a diode consists of a P-N junction, which is formed by joining a P-type semiconductor material (with an excess of positive charge carriers or "holes") and an N-type semiconductor material (with an excess of negative charge carriers or electrons).
