This sensor has a detecting element made primarily of ceramic with an aluminum-oxide base and a tin dioxide coating that is encased in a stainless steel mesh. Its sensing range is very suitable for gas leak detection in homes and places like hotels, restaurants where cooking is done using LPG cylinders.
