Description
MCT2E Optocoupler uses infrared LED and a silicon NPN phototransistor. It's a six-pin DIP optoisolator/optocoupler. The MCTE is a single channel photo transistor that is industry standard. Each optocoupler is made up of an infrared LED made of gallium arsenide and a silicon NPN photo transistor. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has listed these couplers to meet a 5300 VRMS isolation test voltage. This isolation performance is achieved by the isolation manufacturing technique of double moulding. By selecting Option 1, these families can meet the DIN EN 60747-5-2(VDE0884)/ DIN EN 60747-5-5 pending partial discharge isolation criteria. These isolation procedures, along with the ISO 9001 quality programme, yield the best isolation performance possible for a commercial plastic photo transistor optocoupler. The devices are offered on tape and reel or in conventional tube shipping containers in a lead formed shape suited for surface installation.
