Description
MAX232 CSE+93DN is a 5V Powered, Multichannel RS232 Driver/Receiver. The MAX232 is a dual driver/receiver with a capacitive voltage generator that can provide TIA/EIA-232-F voltage levels from a single 5-V supply. TIA/EIA-232-F inputs are converted to 5-V TTL/CMOS levels by each receiver. These receivers typically have a threshold of 1.3 V, a hysteresis of 0.5V, and can accept 30-V inputs. TTL/CMOS input levels are converted into TIA/EIA-232-F levels by each driver. The MAX232 IC is widely used for serial communication between microcontrollers and personal computers. This integrated circuit's primary function is to convert TTL/CMOS logic levels to RS232 during the serial communication process.
