0-12V 750mA Step down Transformer is a general purpose chassis mounting mains transformer, The Transformer act as step down transformer reducing AC - 240V to AC - 12V. Its an electrical device which is used to transfer energy and its mostly used to step down the voltage. A varying current in the primary winding creates a varying magnetic flux in the transformer's core and thus a varying magnetic flux through the secondary winding. This varying magnetic flux induces a varying electromotive force (E.M.F) or voltage in the secondary winding. its a passive component. Its used to convert high voltage in to low voltage and high current power for example an LED Driver needs 12V to operate so at that time this transformer is most prefer to use.
