Description
It is a CAT-5E enhanced version of CAT-5 with high-performance 4-pair cable made up of single-core multi-strand copper wires twisted for better performance and flexibility which is a required property when used for data transmission. It is designed to handle bandwidth equal to or slightly more than 100 MHz. CAT5 cable is commonly used in Ethernet networks with speeds of 10 or 100 Mbps. It is typically used for Ethernet networks running at 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps.
