Description
DB9 Male Right Angle Connector is part of the D-sub miniature (D-sub) connector plug and socket family for computer and communication devices. DB-9 pins are arranged in two rows, as one five-pin row above a four-pin row. The terminals of this connector are bent at a right angle. DB9 connectors are compatible with the EIA/TIA 232 serial interface standard, which established the operation of all nine pins as a standard so that multiple manufacturers may incorporate them into their products. Serial peripheral devices such as keyboards, mouse, joysticks, and other devices used DB9 connectors. They're also employed in data communication DB9 cable assemblies.
