Capuf Embedded recently introduced the CH32V003, a new ultra-affordable RISCV microcontroller. Operating at 48MHz, it boasts 16KB Flash, 2KB RAM, and standard interfaces like GPIO, I2C, SPI, and UART commonly found in microcontrollers. This MCU holds significant promise for cost-conscious applications, especially those with high-volume needs. It stands out as an excellent solution for tasks that demand minimal computational power or require expanded input/output capabilities. Its adaptability creates opportunities for efficient resource management and isolating specific tasks from the primary MCU. To illustrate, if you're dealing with limited IO but need to interface with LCDs and keys, this MCU can seamlessly handle that task. Data transfer from the main MCU to this one can occur via UART or I2C.
