ATmega328P Microcontroller IC is the high-performance Atmel Pico Power 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller. It has a DIP package that has 32K of program space, 23 I/O lines, and 6 of which are channels for the 10-bit ADC.
It runs up to 20MHz with an external crystal. Its package can be programmed in circuit and 1.8V to 5V operating voltage. This is the same microcontroller that is used in Arduino UNO. So, we can use this micro-controller and load an Arduino bootloader into it and run any Arduino code. The device operates between 1.8-5.5 volts.
By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle this module achieves throughputs approaching 1MIPS per MHz allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.
