Description
The AD526 is a monolithic‚ single-ended software programmable gain amplifier (SPGA) with gains of 1‚ 2‚ 4‚ 8‚ and 16. It includes an amplifier and a resistor network. and TTL-compatible latched inputs‚ with no extra components required. The AD526 is suited for precision instrumentation applications needing adjustable gain because of its low gain error and nonlinearity. At a gain of 16‚ the tiny signal bandwidth is 350 kHz. Furthermore‚ the AD526 has good dc precision. The FETinput stage produces a bias current of 50 pA. Analogue Devices' laser trimming method achieves a guaranteed maximum input offset voltage of 0.5 mV max (C grade) and a minimal gain error (0.01%‚ G = 1‚ 2‚ 4‚ C grade).
