Description
The 74HC14D is a hex inverter with Schmitt-trigger inputs. To interface with TTL logic levels, this device has lower input threshold levels. Clamp diodes are also included in the inputs, allowing current limiting resistors to be used to interface the inputs to voltages higher than VCC. Schmitt trigger inputs convert gradually varying input signals into precisely defined, jitter-free output signals.
