The 1N5819 is a 40V 1.0A Schottky Barrier Rectifier Diode in a DO-41 Case Package. The axial leaded Schottky rectifier 1N5819 has been optimized for very low forward voltage drop and moderate leakage. Switching power supplies, converters, free-wheeling diodes, and reverse battery protection are common applications.
