Description
The 1682M-G1 is a single-stage primary side regulation PFC controller for LED drivers in the SOP-8 package. The 1682M is an AC/DC universal input Primary Side Regulation Power Factor Controller with high performance for LED driver applications. The device regulates output current using Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) technology to achieve a high power factor and low THD. 1682M eliminates the optocoupler and secondary control circuitry while providing accurate constant current (CC) regulation. It also does away with the need for loop compensation circuitry while maintaining stability.
