The IRF520 is a Power Mosfet that has a 9.2 A collector current and 100 V breakdown voltage. It has a low gate threshold voltage of 4V. Hence, commonly used with microcontrollers like Arduino for switching high current loads.

IRF Mosfets need 10V at the gate to fully turn on. IRL Mosfets need 5V at the gate to fully turn on.
